How can i open a pdf file which is stored in server and the address is stored in database?

I am trying to make a web application which will allow users to read pdf files from our web site. I have uploaded a file in server and stored the path corresponding to that file in database. Now, I want to open it in browser, when the file is clicked. How can i do this, please help, it's urgent...
