Dynamic Web Module want lower version?

I have a maven project and I want to enable Java Server Facets. I set the Dynamic Web Module to 3.0, but Eclipse wants automatic to set it back to 2.3 and this give an error, because it cannot do it. What is the problem and why Eclipse try to set it back to 2.3 ?
