I recently started to lern web Java with intermediate Java SE knowledge. Since I didn't know where to start from, I decided to learn Spring framework. After few hours of learning I am a bit of cunfused becouse I thought it's gonna be different. Spring and Hibernate are the most usual requirements for junior web Java developer but I didn't make any (even simple) web app yet using Spring. I thought it will be something like advanced PHP, but it's probably not, isn't it? I want to develop backend. Finally, is JEE what I'm looking for? Maybe I haven't seen Spring in terms of web apps yet? Oh, and does Spring work with JEE or these two are completely different technologies?
These are really basic and probably silly questions for you but I hope I'll find the answers.
